Classifiers[/li][li] [/b] Odd coloring as a dog, serious personality, Special Agent standing, her scarred cheek (the only one visible, but if you see her in her illusion, you'll see the slightly ruffled fur that has healed over the scars).
Appearance[/li][li][/b] As a dog, Morgan stands at an average border collie's height, around 19 inches tall. Her pelt is an odd color, being a lighter brown than typically seen in her breed. The brownish yellow color is placed where typically the ebony would be, with the similar ivory on her belly & socks. As well, her muzzle is white, while the rest of her head is brown, save for a small stripe up the middle of her forehead. Her eyes as a dog are a brilliant turquoise, uncommon but not impossible. Her build is small and skinny, built for speed more than anything. Typically, if her unit is taking down a suspect, she'll be leading the charge, and the one to first reach the suspect.
But with her human illusion up, her hair is the same color as her pelt just with a little less red, but her eyes do not relate. Instead, they're a deep hazel color that can easily fill with flames, the brown more pronounced than the green. Her build reflects that of her canine form, and her skin is pulled tight over small bones. Typically, you'll see her wearing jeans, if not those, any pants (just not skirts), and thin shirts, usually three-quarter sleeved. Sometimes she'll have a coat overtop, similar to the one in the picture, but not always.
She has received several scars over the years in the Forces. On her left cheek is a long line from where she was cut with a knife, resulting in a thin white stretch of skin to coat her face. As well, her shoulder was stabbed with a hot screwdriver, resulting in a hole about the size of a nickel (that's now scarred over). Her wrist has been damaged from a bullet, leaving a cylindrical mark on her wrist that's visible when she's not wearing the brace for it. Right between her second-last and last rib is another scar from a bullet, where she was shot at Booth's funeral. Finally, her abdomen has scarred tissue from a fire she was in.

Its all a Part of Me
Dislikes[/li][li][/b] People who joke too much, those who can't be serious when the time calls for it, the suspects she has to take down, practical jokes, being away from the office. NEEDLES.
Fears[/li][li][/b] Losing another partner, and there being no coffee in the office. That, and Booth getting himself into some kind of trouble. NEEDLES.
Skills[/li][li] [/b] Shooting, taking a suspect down despite her size & weight, focusing for long periods of time. (Alternately, it takes her a while to get /out/ of that mindset.) TERRIFIC cook.
Personality[/li][li][/b] All by our lovely Kao:
Well, if you were looking for a good comedian or someone to laugh with...you're in the wrong place. Not that Morgan doesn't have a sense of humor! It's just, she doesn't use it much.
For as long as she can remember, Morgan has preferred the more serious approach, especially when it comes to work. For example: She thinks it should be a crime to smile at a crime-scene. If that doesn't describe someone who is determined and lives for her work, I don't know what will!
Though more times then not you can find Morgan in a serious and focused manner, she still has a humanistic side to her -- especially when she's around Booth. She isn't sure if it's the whole "he saved her life thing" or just that he gets to her, but the guy can make her smile. It also doesn't help that he does whatever he can to see her beautiful smile. She won't admit it, but it's true, she does have a goregeous smile that can lighten up even a rat's nest.
Another thing you have to know about Brooks, is she worries...a lot. But it makes sense, in her line of work, you have everything to worry about.
But that isn't her main worry.
Mainly, it's got somethin' to do with Booth. And ity doesn't help her much that he's always doing something that could possibly kill him! Ever since Carter Davis, her first partner, got killed in an "accident", she's always worried that it'll happen again, and she's not sure if she can go through it once more. Still, Booth reassures it won't happen again, that he'll be fine, but that doesn't stop her worry. Still, she stays tough for him, and for herself.
Lucky for her, being tough is one of her best assets.
Ever since she was little, playing ball with the bigger boys in the neighborhood, she's been tougher then nails. No punch, no bruise, no cut would get in her way of her goals, and that still holds true in her work.
She's a hard, tough, lady Agent that won't take crap from anyone. She remains down-to-earth in everything, and she makes sure she's brain-smart just as much as she's street-smart. She does her best to keep her cool in the toughest situations, and so far, that's done her a load of good. Well obviously it has, she isn't dead yet! But those traits aren't the only things that have kept her alive. Though some might consider it a weakness, her care for those she loves and her chilvary have been just as big a help. She's able to keep her morals straight, and do what's right, even if it means her own demise. Though that thinking causes her to come into conflict with Booth too. Booth's the same way, and it wouldn't be surprising if fought over who would take the bullet someday.
Overall though, Brook's a good person, with a well-intentioned heart, and brains and muscle. And it's those traits that help the mission get done. Brooks happens to be Booth's other half as a partner, and that's definately not a bad thing. While Booth is good with people, and finding out what he needs to know, Brooks is the girl who can take that information, and make sure the right guy gets arrested.
It's a win for the good guys, and Morgan Brooks knows that's the only way it always, and should be.

History[/li][li][/b] Having only recently moved to the 'big city', most of Morgan's history is unknown to the residents. However, the fae wasn't granted that fortune.
Born in a town just a couple of hours away from Vale, Morgan was a relatively reserved child, who was quiet and tried to just get everything done as fast as she could. Even to this day she's carried that 'First work then play' complex. For some reason, at high school she was sort of popular, in the sense that she wasn't pressured to do anything the inner clique did, but was still accepted.
Her parents weren't the best ones out there, really. Morgan wasn't a mistake, but the two were young enough to not have a clue what they were doing with her. As a result, Brooks stayed inside most of the time (until she was five), colouring or watching tv. As soon as she hit five, Brooks' rebellious streak kicked in, and she found that if she just could turn that handle she would be out of the house in no time, not found for at least a few hours.
They lived in a small town, so it wasn't like the lack of parenting was anything to be worried about. Finding early that she had a natural talent for sports, Brooks tried her hand (or foot) at anything; Soccer, football, etc. Popular on the field, but not in the way that young jocks grew up to be, Brooks was modest, preferring to just play rather than to scoff over who could kick the farthest.
As she grew older, the lack of parenting grew worse and worse. Her parents were just engrossed in their own jobs, and Morgan wasn't a needy child in the slightest. So in a sense it was a perfect fit. She did get into trouble from time to time, as any kid would with that lack of parenting, but she always managed to stay on the right side of the law. Her only friends around that time were her neighbors, walking to the same school and playing afterwards until it grew dark; Sometimes Morgan wouldn't return until late at night - nothing worried her parents.
Then came university, where Morgan grew quieter, more reserved, but gained a masters in Criminology. Flagged by the Special Forces people since she started University, she quickly found her dream job among the special forces. The fact that she was a dog didn't hinder her work at all - in fact, she was put into that department for that reason. It was there that it was discovered that she was a crack shot, able to shoot more precisely than most of the people in her division. Thanks to her prowess, she was partnered with a burly man in possession of a rarely-shown cuddly side and unmatched loyalty.
Together, she & the german shepherd were responsible for taking down numerous suspects, including the notorious ear-snatcher. However, while the pair was going into a drug investigation, a brutal stand-off between the two pairs caused a bullet to pierce her partner's heart, killing him instantly, after he tried to take the second blow meant for Morgan. (She suffered a deep cut over her jawline). Shooting the other man down and leaving Howard with a bullet in his leg, the surviving drug lord fled underground, unheard of for the next few years.
Treated for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Morgan found that she could not enter the building that she & her partner had entered every day, couldn't find herself tackling the same city without her close friend of close to five years. Applying for a transfer, she wound up at Special Forces in Vale, partnered with none other than our lovely Booth & Sweets.
Since then, Brooks has been part of three experiences that have only brought out her condition more. Abducted by Howard (who she had shot in the past), she received several scars from this occasion (wrist, shoulder, cheek) and was severely beaten. Facing death at the end of a gun, Brooks was just about ready to give up. After Booth came to her rescue, he too was shot, causing Brooks to forget about her own injuries and shoot Howard five times with her left hand before tending to Booth.
Her doctor, Doogie, had told her that Booth was dead (when he was still alive), and David, Booth's son, came to live with her for the time in between the shooting and the funeral. Falling into a kind of depression, she lived with the guilt and was preparing to quit her job with the Forces after Booth's funeral.
However, this was not to be the case. The man that Booth had been trying to force above ground showed up, sitting next to her in fact, and ended up shooting her in the rib from the crossfire between the two men. Brooks secured the man before collapsing from her injury, taken to hospital by none other than Booth.
After the pair exchanged heated words at the hospital, she posed a "jailbreak" and returned to her apartment, only to have David and Booth show up at her door. This was all around Christmas time, and so she allowed Booth into her home (after a kiss), and the three of them patched things up between them all.
On the night of Christmas Eve, just after Booth and David had left to gather ornaments for her tree that they had bought, Reiketsu, a lunar beast who they had encountered previously set fire to her apartment, causing smoke inhalation, toxic gas to pour into her lungs, severe burns on her abdomen and a broken jaw (from the beast himself). David was taken by the man, but luckily recovered before any harm could come to him.
