Wandering aimlessly, an almost glowing white figure made it's way through the dark night. It was rather cold out tonight for it being Mid-November, but the weather hardly seemed to faze the hulking white wolf as he continued to saunter down the cobblestone side-road. The male had almost deliciously warm Amber eyes, though those who knew him knew that they were his deadliest weapons when he hunted the various humans to show the local police who was really running the show. The males right ear was missing, the result of a fight between his arch-rival, but that was the last thing one would notice of him. His blue tongue hung out of his jaws ever so slightly- the tender muscle gently resting ever so precariously over his sharp fangs. Those fangs were pearly white despite the doubtless gallons and gallons of blood that had been spilled by them, along with the ebony claws the clicked ever so silently against the cobblestone beneath them. It wasn't long before the male who went by the name of Reiketsu noticed he was coming up on one of the main roads, and so Lifted his illusion. Instead of his normal attire, the male had relatively 'normal' clothes on his human guise. A black, long sleeved shirt covered his torso, the cotton-like fabric clinging to his form rather nicely and adding to his 'normal' look. What human wouldn't bundle up at least slightly on a cold night? The neck of the shirt stretched up the males own throat ever so slightly, ending half an inch or so beneath his adams apple. He sported Dark denim jeans, just ever so tight against his legs to hint at his athletic build- but not so tight as to be free of some of the bagginess. His sneakers that now completely silenced his steps were also black- with accents of an almost neon blue and some white here and there.
Rei was actually quite handsome- his hair still that same glowing white, as if it had been bleached; his eyes still that seductive amber. The only thing that was really 'unusual' about him was his skin. The pale skin that would almost match his hair if it were any lighter. That could easily be overlooked though, as most attention was given to his face. It looked as if it had been chiseled at some parts, but softened up just enough to take off the sharp edges. It was easy to see, now, how he could easily lure any humans to a secluded area. To the ladies, he was the man of their dreams. To the men, he looked harmless enough. His chest was actually quite broad for the age he looked, his shoulders and fore-arms built just right to show muscle, but not make him look like any kind of body builder. The kind of body that would suggest the man did physical work for a living, though didn't over-do it. There was, of course, some truth to that. He always hunted for his own food- and traveled regularly between paradise and the city. What he was doing in the city now, though, had nothing to do with hunting. At least, not for the moment. The man had simply grown bored of travelling back and forth and doing the same thing in both areas. Tonight, he was going to explore new activities.
Amber eyes were closed half-way, but were scanning the street as he turned onto it. He instantly noticed the trickle of the residing humans coming out from various buildings, the foot traffic starting to pick up. The night-goers were coming out at last as the others who had been busy during the day retreated to the warm and cozy beds. Rei listened intently to those who passed him and any around him as he continued on with his rather slow walk. The male was tall, almost 6' 4", but those around didn't seem to notice or didn't care. There was talk of movies, gambling, parties, dinner, dates- but none of this caught the wolf's interest as he strode through the increasingly thickening foot traffic with his human skin in place. One word though, finally managed to get the mans attention. 'Drinks'. The people who were talking seemed so excited that the air around them was almost electric. Rei slowed a bit, pushing his hands into his pockets as he tagged along slightly behind the group. Close enough to suggest he was a part of the group, but not so close as to completely assume that he was involved. They didn't look much older than Rei did- which would only help him blend in as he continued to follow them, even as they entered a building that smelled of nothing but liquor. The Building was somewhat of a rough-and-tough looking place, the bar stretched out across the back wall being chipped and faded with rather unstable seats lining it. He still followed the group as they went to the bar, sitting a seat or so from the group to again seem as if he could be involved with them.
The group was celebrating- that much was evident. Especially after one made the announcement that he'd be buying for the group for the entire night. From what the wolf could pick up, it had something to do with a break. He could have sworn he heard someone mention an engagement, but he wasn't about to swear to anything. Then again though, he didn't really care. It was rather easy to just casually get a bit closer as the bar tender started counting those to add onto the tab- and sure enough, rei was counted as well. Free drinks for the night would be his treat. He retreated a bit away from the group afterwards so none would grow suspicious, and sipped at his liquor in relative peace. Rei was never a drinker, but the amber drink that matched his eyes and warmed his throat and chest was addicting. The wolf had found a love for whiskey as he asked for different brands, sipping away but never fully finishing glasses to continue sipping at them and savoring the slight burn. Rei hadn't even noticed that he had downed at least 5 shots already of the potent liquid, and he gradually became more relaxed. He thought back to the other beasts and wondered if they'd ever had a sip. His first thought had drifted to Kaze, but then, it seemed that it had shifted to a completely different female. One that wasn't even a lunar beast like himself and the panther previously mentioned. Brooks. Morgan Brooks. The partner of the mutt that had torn his ear off. It was coming up on a year, now, from when he had burned down her apartment. Yet, only a few months or so after the incident in the alley. He had given booth the dose of his personal hell, and brooks had figured rei out through his rather obvious disguise.
They had taken the stand-off to the back of the alley, where shadows dominated and the drugged agents senses wouldn't pick up on anything suspicious. She had tried to knock him out with a hit from her gun- but she miscalculated greatly. The simple hit was not enough to even make the wolf blink, and he'd had her against the wall in a heartbeat. Something about being that close to her... looking into those Blue eyes... whatever that something was, it wouldn't let the male forget about the collie for more than a few hours a day at the most. Even just thinking about being so close to her now was starting to arouse him, but he kept himself under control. What would she see in him, anyway? He'd tried to outright kill her countless times... but there was always something about her that seemed to draw the wolf's attention to her. He sighed, continuing his steady sipping of his shot glasses. He let his thoughts remain on the collie- that look of dominance in those eyes of hers, even as she had been stared down upon by his own ambers- how he had been close enough to kiss her on the cheek. How he could have easily just ripped her throat out when he actually went to nip at her skin gently, but halted himself all-together instead. As his thoughts continued to linger on being close to that woman, the more aroused he was getting- but he could still keep himself under control. That's what he was notorious for. That almost eerie way he could make himself wait- even if the patience was damn near fraying his nerves to the point of making him honestly almost want to grab a piece of concrete and slam it into his face.
He knew it was simply a battle of mind over matter. He also knew he had the mind-set to win over matter. He took in a deep breath, but it hitched in his throat as he could have sworn he had caught the scent of the dam he had been thinking about constantly for the past few months. His eyes widened slightly as his expression morphed from 'bored' to a hint of shock- as if someone had given him a slight shove as he was deep in thought. He looked around, glancing casually at the faces but not seeing the one of the familiar woman. He searched a bit more, but failed to find a matching face or even pick up the scent again. He turned back to his drinks, still sipping at them as he pondered if Brooks really was something that was going to force him into the battle of mind over matter, secluding himself again from the rest of the world as he let his thoughts simmer.

The pale beast was right, as he sat in the bar, staring down his drink. It had been months since their last encounter, and if Brooks was in a sound mind, she'd want to keep more months between their next encounter. You could ask - many people consider torching your apartment (with you inside it) and poisoning their boyfriend to be a bit off a turn-off, including Morgan herself. But the result of that poisoning had gone too far for the fae to endure. Her partner had grown violent, angry, and overall not himself in the slightest. Brooks knew deep down that something was terribly, horribly wrong, but didn't know what she could do, only knowing she couldn't take it anymore. She'd packed her bags from Booth's place (where she'd been staying since the fire) and found a place closer to the heart of the city, which happened to be just around the corner from this bar she found herself in.
Now, the agent wasn't stupid - far from it. She was too dedicated to her job to drink on the weekdays, but since she and Booth had broken up, despite his recovery, the border collie had been in the bar often, choosing the sometimes rowdy scene opposed to her perpetually empty home. It was more or less decorated nicely, in the same way an apartment in a magazine would be - nice, but devoid of personal touch. But even that was Brooks' personal touch - she didn't get personal with anyone, and preferred her life to not be on display. For the most part, she was cool, distant, unless you could pry yourself in through an already open hole.
Which was exactly what Booth had done. The collie had been broken when Booth had found her as his partner, still quivering from the death of her old partner. She'd left herself vulnerable, that one little word she loathed so much, and after a time began to trust her new partner, the calendar delivering them to the honeymoon time. As a law-enforcement partnership, they completed each other, made their jobs a lot easier; Brooks being the reason and Booth the emotion. But like any bubble, this individual world that they'd created couldn't last forever, even if it had been tested by events such as Howard's shooting, Booth's death, and Brooks' fire. What had been their fatal flaw was Brooks' fragility, the woman allowing Booth into a place where she could be broken, and exactly that had happened. There was now a distance between them, relatable to the way a dog recoils after being kicked, however much Brooks herself loathed the metaphor.
Of course, none of this was running through her mind right now. Fragility repaired by two or three shots of vodka already, Brooks had been transported to a world where she didn't give a damn about anyone or anything, least of all herself in this point. There was no forward thinking involved anymore; Brooks' trademark personality had taken a vacation. Tonight, as many other nights had been, was simply about her feelings. No, not the sentimental crying over your drink feelings. Not the mushy ones that got in the way, but whether something felt good or something felt bad.
So far, the drinks were good. And that was all that mattered.
Emerging from the washroom where she'd been relieving herself, the first thing that ran through the lady's mind was that she needed more drinks. Striding back over to her seat at the bar, the woman reclaimed her stool gracefully, legs extending down to the rung on the stool before placing her elbows on the counter. Her attire for the night was far from conservative, but still within her comfort zone. She wasn't consciously looking for a date to descend into the darkness with, but her attire spoke that she wasn't trying while still looking attractive. Her legs were shielded with black business pants, exposing her feet which peeked out of strapped, black high heels. On her torso, her arms were left bare, exposing the scars where she'd been injured that night in the warehouse, but the pearly decorations were hardly visible in the low light. Her top was clad in a silken red top, exposing a slight amount of cleavage as the top continued down, ending with a ruffled hem. Her caramel hair was let down, the mane resting against her pale back as her bright blue eyes sought out the bartender, gaze piercing his.
Waving him over with her unscarred hand, she requested another shot of vodka, with a cocktail to go with it, and only had to wait a few minutes before they arrived. Her first two shots had been on another man's tab, but she'd blown him off (after he'd ordered the drinks) and he'd long since left with another woman. Now the stool next to her was empty, as Brooks preferred in this moment, but couldn't help being unable to shake the feeling that she was being watched. However, in this moment, she didn't care, and so tipped her head back and downed the shot, slamming the cup down on the counter with a rebellious huff. Tonight, she was going to get drunk, outlast the crowds of people that stumbled in here, split up, and then left, until closing time arrived with the dawn, with the fae facing another empty Saturday filled with the work she so adored.

He was going crazy. He had to be going insane. There was no way that such a simple woman should've been able to have such an effect on him. Yet- it seemed it was very possible. Ambers were lost in the drinks before him. He'd lost count after 8 shots. The group he had originally trailed in with were moving farther down the bar, calming down and seeming to be close to leaving. Eyes widened though, as he again caught the scent of that fae that seemed to have cast a spell on him. Thoughts left the group as he again turned to search for a face. It had been so close... so fresh. If he was indeed going insane, he was doing so at an alarming rate. Maybe he wasn't taking the liquor well? No- he was just fun. He had a nice buzz going, but nothing that would make him go delusional just yet. He almost gave up, almost turned back to his drinks- until he saw it. It had been just a flicker from the corner of his keen eyes, but he'd caught it. That honey colored hair that matched perfectly to that of Brooks. He craned his head, jaw hanging slack just slightly as he finally confirmed the identity.
Rei let his eyes watch as she took a seat a few stools down from him. The heels seemed to just barely hang ever so slightly from her feet, though they were hardly visible under the legs of the black slacks that seemed to gracefully curve around her form. The black gave way to crimson as his eyes trailed over the top that seemed to just float above her skin, the sleeves cut short and revealing skin and a bit of cleavage. That of course aroused a bit of tension from his pants, but nothing he couldn't correct. Finally, he let his eyes tear from the shirt and trail up her delicate neck to her face. Her blue eyes struck out against all of her features, and something similar to adrenaline coursed through the wolf's blood. It was thick, and powerful. It almost felt like that usually stone-cold heart of his was pounding against his ribs, on the verge of creating a dull ache. Was it really now to the point where just looking at her was physically painful in a good way? Reiketsu wasn't sure how to respond to his own reaction, but did the only thing he could think to do. Finally, downing the remaining liquor from all of his glasses and nonchalantly pushing them over towards the pile of other empty glasses, the male stood from the stool. His shirt seemed to be locking in all of the heat his body was radiating, but in reality his skin was actually soothingly cool to the touch. The whiskey was the cause of this- the 'heat' he felt building up being the different levels of alcohol finally starting to sink in and warm the inside of his chest in increments.
Giving the collar of his shirt a quick tug to release some of the 'heat', he sauntered over towards Brooks. His form was slightly hunched, his hand in his pocket as he approached the collie. His stance, for once, did not inquire that the male was looking to start anything- and actually seemed more calm than anything, despite the fact his heart was starting to race a bit. He stopped a foot or so away from her- actually being considerate and giving her some space first. "Hey." he spoke somewhat quietly, his Amber eyes connecting with her Blues. He stood there for a bit, almost hesitantly taking the seat next to her as he kept his gaze locked with hers. This time, there was nothing threatening in his orbs. Only what seemed to be questions and scenarios chasing through his mind. He removed his hands from his pockets, letting one fall onto his lap while the other was propped up on the bar at his elbow, his fingers resting slightly curved on his chin.
He couldn't help as his eyes slowly traveled down to her cheek- the one he had kissed those months ago. The tips of his fingers tingled- as if they were yearning to reach out and touch her skin again- to make sure she wasn't just some figment of his imagination. He kept his hands to himself though, even though the head in his pants was thinking other thoughts. Keeping it hidden was going to be a challenge to say the least, but he believed he could do it. If not... well, he could always question why her focus was trained there in the first place.

At first, she convinced herself that she was experiencing delusions. As alarming as that was, meaning that she'd have to be tested back at the office for something a little more... troublesome, at least she wouldn't have to make a scene in the bar. After all, if the pale lunar beast was at this bar, with her, it was only a matter or time before he'd come wandering over... and that would mean a real problem. She was in no shape to fight him off, and couldn't even if she was at full power. Perhaps if she wasn't drunk she'd be able to run away, but she was even now still swallowing that last hope away.
But it couldn't last. Out of the corner of her blue eye, she saw the tall, imposing figure moving towards her, however there wasn't a hint of a threat to be found in his body language or expression. Letting her left hand fall to her hip, it took the Agent a moment to realize that her gun wasn't at her side... but even as she realized this, Brooks also realized that she really didn't want to shoot the beast. It wouldn't do her much good anyways. Polishing off the last of her cocktail, she slid the glasses down to the bartender, who took the glasses and reluctantly replaced it with another shot of vodka.
When the cool liquid rested in her pale hand, a shadow fell over the much shorter woman, and the overpowering scent of the Lunar Beast poured over her body, seeping into her pores and the very fabric she wore. The liquid she'd downed was dulling her senses and her emotions, but as she regarded the tall male out of the corner of her eye, there was an undeniable sense of... pleasure? Pride? She couldn't tell for sure, but it was a positive emotion. Something in her had attracted this male, despite their history... and perhaps it was the vodka speaking, but there was something telling her to look past that, just for the night.
She regarded the male with intrigued blue eyes, watching the motion as he sunk to the stool. Tilting her chin towards him but her head away, Brooks finally met the male's gaze with the smallest hint of a smile, but she would not give him the satisfaction of knowing that she was even slightly glad for the company. "Well well well, look what the dog dragged in." She slurred, pale hand reaching for her shot glass to swish it around slightly. "Any particular reason you're not trying to kill me yet?"

Rei let himself breathe a mental sigh of relief to see that she was not making a move to fight or run. She studied him as he drew closer, and she watched as she reached for her hip. Curious, the male tilted his head a bit, but corrected it as he realized what they'd usually kept in that spot. Their weapons. He laughed inwardly, thinking of what a mess that would've been. A drunken wolf dodging bullets in a bar. What could possibly go wrong? The liquor was quickly sinking in, and as the woman spoke, pushing away her own drink, it was apparent she was getting wasted as well.
Her slurred speech caught him a bit off-guard, but he was able to hide it easily. He was sure his was just going downhill, and rapidly at that. Already his head was starting that numb pulsating, and slowly, the tension in his pants was starting to build up. Nothing too noticeable thanks to how he was sitting, but just enough to hint at the activity going on down there. As he finally registered what exactly she was asking, the male let out a surprisingly pleasant chuckle. "Just out looking for a change in my routine. Not attacking the attractive women at bars is a step towards the goal, you see." he spoke, almost with a smile that showed his pearly teeth. Oh yes, the liquor was sinking in with no time to spare.
Rei set himself a bit closer to the edge of his seat, his pulse racing like a young teen who was sitting next to the girl everyone had a crush on. Only difference was, both of these canines were very much drunk. Their tones both held that slight slur, and the mans amber eyes twinkled a bit. Rei could be very pleasant when he wanted to be, which was close to never, but this was one of those rare occasions. "Speaking of attractive women, what exactly brings you out here? I wouldn't have taken you for a drinker." he asked, leaning a bit closer towards her and silently taking in the fae's scent. Tonight held the potential to bring about some surprises, and it seemed to be progressing that way fast. Not that the two drunkards would notice with how occupied they were.

Whether it was the amount of booze making it's way through her petite frame, or whether this night was just bizarre, everything was catching Brooks off guard. Especially that chuckle that came from the male's mouth. Everything that she knew about the beast beside her was that he was not to be trusted. Not to be let out of sight, and definitely not one to enjoy drinks with. He was a beast; A tall, pale, dangerous beast whose strength far surpassed that of any normal animal, and who'd shown his reckless, thoughtless, killing nature in the past. So why was Brooks choosing to share this moment with her?
Well, the truth is, she didn't. Brooks just didn't protest it entirely. And didn't mind all too much. Once Rei's flattering words hit her ears, the canine laughed, her bell-like tone ringing in the intimate space between them as her head fell, avoiding eye contact for the moment. Had he just snuck in a compliment into their conversation? The over-analyzing part of Brooks' brain had long since fallen into a drunken stupor, telling the lady that yes, indeed, she had just been complimented and had better do something about the silence that was beginning to stretch.
Luckily he added something to his speech, causing the fae to return his smile with one of her own. "And what might that goal be? A lucky lady involved?" The rational part of her brain, long since drowned in drink, would've said that a lady finding herself in Rei's sights for the night wouldn't be exactly 'lucky', as she put it, but that part had no say in what the woman did tonight. Picking up the shot glass she'd been swirling, the woman quickly downed it before sending that cup down as well, turning her body fully towards Rei now that the obstacle was out of the way.
Her body angled towards him, with only her right arm remaining on the counter. Elbow propping up her head, she let her scarred cheek become exposed to the light without realizing it, blue eyes shielded with mystery in the low light, and only slightly blurred from the effects of the vodka. She watched as he scooted towards the edge of the seat, closer to her, but where her alarms should have been ringing, nothing but a smug satisfaction, and even potential anticipation remained. Responding to his question, Brooks grinned before leaning in as well, luring the male closer as they leaned in. "And I wouldn't have taken you for someone," At this point, the female had to stand on her stool slightly to reach her intended goal, but once she did, the whispered words lingered in the male's right ear even as a breath from the wind, delicate and filled with new appreciation, and anticipation to see where this would lead.
"who cared."

The male was obviously already wrapped around this womans finger- though not so much that he'd go off and get the moon for her. It was just enough of a knot to keep him interested. However, he finally let a smile break through and his pearly teeth shone almost stunningly. She actually seemed bashful as he had, indeed, thrown the compliment in there- her laugh almost melodical. It was amazing, really, how liquor could bring out the best of a person. Rei was just having a blast, and it hadn't even been more than 5 minutes.
As the two continued to talk, he noticed (quite thankfully) that the tension in his pants was receding. She certainly was a good looking woman, and he'd have to keep from looking at her too much if he wanted to avoid the 'problem' that was hard enough to hide when it wasn't aroused. He let his lips fall to conceal his dazzling smile, listening as she asked her question- only to smile again at the thought, giving a shrug of his muscular shoulders. "Well, that would be an activity that strays from my normal routine... so, I guess that could always be a possibility." he spoke, perking his brow at her just ever so slightly, as if to insinuate his thoughts- which were ultimately arousing him all over again.
As she swirled her drink around and downed it, rei couldn't help but to let his eyes train onto that neck of hers. Of all the places on a human body, rei could honestly admit that he fancied the neck and shoulders above all else- no pun intended. The way the muscles moved and bits seemed to stretch out and sink in to create unusual shapes seemed to put the wolf into a trance- one that was soon broken as the sound of the glass hitting the bar rang through the air. He let his eyes lose the fog they held as he became alert, watching the collie before him as she started to lean in close to him- causing him to lean close to her as well, his pulse picking up again.
The words whispered into his ear earned a cold jolt down the wolf's spine, his skin prickling in it's wake and spreading out over his back. Had he been in his normal lupine form, the fur from the top of his head to the start of his tail would be standing on end from the electric jolt that came from her breath brushing against his own cheek. He leaned forward a bit more, instinct driving him for a few precious moments as he came a bit closer to her face- eyes locked in an intense stare that seemed to say... something. Glowing ambers remained locked on penetrating blues, the distance between the two remaining constant. There was no backing off, yet there was no advancement. There was only... a stare.
Slowly, the wolf lifted his hand from the bar- reaching it up towards the woman's un-scarred cheek ever so slowly. His fingertips stopped maybe a quarter of an inch from contact with her skin. Ambers probed blues for a split second, searching for anything that would resemble a reaction as he finally let his hand gently come to rest on her cheek. Brows furrowed slightly as he seemed to go into thought- though with his drunken state, there was no telling what exactly was running through his mind. Her skin was almost the same temperature as his, if not warmer due to the alcohol she had consumed not seconds before. From here, he finally realized his position, and his eyes widened a bit with some shock as he racked his brain for things to do to recover, but was coming up empty handed.

Her breath, at this point, reeked of the drink that she'd consumed over the span of a few hours. As such, her motions were seeped in it as well, wrapping her feelings into the mystery and murkiness of drunkenness to the extent that she was even feeling different things than she normally felt. Instead of feeling trapped and panicky that Rei had seemingly set his sights on her, she instead felt flattered, enjoying the blatant attention she was getting. Brooks hadn't gotten such blatant fascination from any of her past boyfriends - including Booth - in some time, and the honeymoon period was quite refreshing. Since the two partners had been romantically involved for some time now, although it had been going well, there was little of the raw attraction that was settling between Rei and Brooks now. It was an attraction on a purely biological level, physical and animalistic as half of their natures were. And truth be told, Brooks didn't mind that at all.
She was thinking down a completely different path than her usual serious, devoted, married-to-the-job nature. Tonight, she was noticing different things, such as how the behavior of the people around the bar changed as they passed different people, drank different things... and her own behavior towards Rei was no different. And neither was his to hers. But she was also noticing something else, things that her mind typically wouldn't allow herself to notice; such as the rippling of Rei's muscles beneath his shirt as he shrugged, the physical domineering air he held wherever he went, and his complete change as he interacted with her. And this was stirring something within the woman, long since forgotten to stress and worry. But tonight was the night to throw caution to the curb, in a room where it was so dark people forgot who they were, and descended into their raw, uncomplicated feelings as they came, no questions or regrets.
As her body leaned close to his for her whisper, there was an icy hot chill that spread across the woman's skin, trickling down her spine and hitting her bones as it ricochetted around. Their physical proximity was intoxicating, possibly even more so than the liquor they'd both downed. The agent could tell from looking at him that he was equally affected, a small shiver creeping across his skin as she withdrew her head, not getting very far in her movement. As soon as the large hand touched her cheek, the woman was at once frozen and melting in her very skin. Their temperatures were similar, but the touch sent adrenaline running through her body, the hairs on her arms and neck standing up at high alert. For a split second, blue eyes sought rationale from ambers, but was unable to find anything except for mirrored alarm, which was exactly when Brooks decided to take matters into her own hands.
Moving slowly, she kept her head slightly pressed against the hand that held her cheek as she crossed the distance between bar stools, expression unreadable in the low light which seemed so intense in their silent dance, before reaching Rei's stool, the distance between them diminshing rapidly. Placing first one shoe, and then the other onto the rung of Rei's stool, she lifted her body to meet his, her nose barely brushing his lip. Turning her cranium upwards, she closed her eyes as she placed her lips to Rei's, encompassing his in their warm embrace for the moment, her right hand climbing up to find the back of the beast's head. Bringing it closer, she broke for a moment, gathering air, before initiating the kiss once more, her body pressed against Rei's almost completely, save for the stool that gave some distance between them.

Rei was frozen- still grasping at straws for what to do as he sat there, both canines staring at each other with slight surprise. However, he could feel that same sensation of his blood thickening when he noticed the female moving closer towards him. Adrenaline was making a slight sense of panic set in, unsure of her intentions- but not wanting to pull away. His curiosity was the only thing keeping him in the stool, and as the woman crept ever closer, he gulped down the lump in his throat- his adams apple twitching with the action every so slightly. Unconsciously, he took in a deep and quiet breath, his chest puffing up a bit as a result- but he ceased his breathing all together as Brooks nose brushed against his lips just so, sending a jolt down his spine and causing him to actually flinch some. He had been numb to everything except her touch, and the sudden contact, no matter how slight it was, shocked his senses.
It seemed like an eternity, but it had to be no more than a second before the womans lips were pressed against his. His body was suddenly released from the spell that kept him locked in place, and gave a slight suck on her bottom lip as she pulled away, letting out the long breath that he'd been holding as he lifted his other hand- already reacting as the woman pressed herself against him and again planted her lips on his. He let his other hand rest on her side first , slowly letting it run over her back and eventually snake his arm around her lower back, pulling her more against him as the hand on her cheek pushed back into her hair gently.
He could feel the heat rushing to his face, feel her against his skin through both layers of their clothes, his heart pounding hard against his chest- though the one thing he didn't feel was the tension in his pants causing them to bulge out quite a bit. This was what he'd been wanting though, hadn't it? For the entire span of months that had drawn out between that scene in the alley, all he'd been able to think about was holding the same woman in his arms- and here, he was. He knew, though in his drunken state, that this would inevitably lead to something a bit more... rambunctious. His lips parted a bit, his head tilting a bit to the side as he again gave a light sick on her lips before pulling back an inch or so, taking in a breath and letting a smile cross his features. He had been looking for a change in his routine, and tonight, he certainly would not be disappointed. His ambers were drooped a bit, the male having to bite his tongue a bit to keep from assaulting her with another kiss without giving her a chance to breath- though that didn't stop him from pulling her against him more.

She felt him flinch, encompassed by her touch, but since he obviously wasn't pulling away from her, or doing anything else to indicate that he didn't want this, Brooks continued on her dogged path, liquor in the driver's seat tonight. Noticing his slightly panicked reaction as she moved in closer, Brooks gave what she hoped was something imitating a reassuring smile, but ended up being more enticing than comforting. As their bodies pressed together, she did her best to immerse herself in the ravaging feelings that were taking over her body, the sensations that were spinning from their lips, a shudder of pleasure spreading through her body.
As she pulled away and her lip remained for an instant, she gave another one of her intoxicating smiles, all too happy to know that he was just as receptive to her as she was to him in this moment. Taking her breath quickly, it shuddered slightly as her companion for the night waited in anticipation, but not for long as the lady quickly delivered. Brooks felt the arm snake around her small frame, and didn't object to the pressure against her lower back which brought her closer. With their bodies pressed against each other, she could feel most of his body against hers, a smile creeping across her face as she felt his hand sneak back into her hair. She let her own hand slither down, across his neck, and onto his chest, while the other hand replaced the contact she'd left on the back of his head, fingers grasping not-too-gently for hair and increased pressure against her lips.
Disappointed as he pulled away from her, the lady took the moment to disentangle her hand from his hair, plunging it into her pocket quickly before placing a bill on the counter for the bartender, all the while maintaining eye contact with Rei, and her hand on his chest. Chuckling a little as she fell even farther onto him, she was nearly leaning fully into his lap at this point, a pleasured expression evident on her face since the moment their contact had begun. "You know... as wonderful as this is, I think it's time to take this a little more... private." She whispered, letting her hand travel back up his neck and tracing his jawline, her touch featherlight. Even as she spoke, her gaze travelled downwards, noticing for the first time the bulge her actions had produced. "Something tells me you won't disagree. I have a place a few blocks from her, and I happen to be in need of a nice, strong man to walk me home." While she said this, she laid her hand around the back of his neck, the contact slow-moving and intoxicating as she went.
There was something exhilarating about being involved with a man she knew could snap her neck in a moment, if he so desired. Something dangerous, but deliciously so. And completely contrary to what her normal thought process was, her body was crying for more attention, for more contact against her skin in the darkness of night. Brooks let her leg lift up slightly, balancing on one foot still on the rung, before rubbing her ankle against his gently before pulling away, finally stepping down from the stool and beginning to move towards the exit, her eyes still trained on her companion for the night, willing him to follow her out to a more private location.

To others in the bar, it was obvious that the two at the bar were drunk not just off of their drinks, but off of each other. The way the two were going at it, the people that rei had followed in and bummed drinks off of actually decided to go move to a table quite a ways away. The two hardly noticed, though especially not rei. His pulse thrummed in his ears, and he felt slightly light-headed at the rush. His eyes trained on the blue pools that seemed so cool and collected, but at the same time were so hot and wild. She seemed almost disappointed as he had pulled away, but she put on a smile that kept the male wrapped around her finger. At this point, he was so drunk and so entranced with the woman, that if she asked him to go out and kill the other lunar beasts, he'd have done it in a heartbeat.
What she went on to start asking after she paid for her drink, however, got the male smiling- her weight leaned against him pleasantly. As he looked down while her hand wrapped it's way around the back of his neck, he noticed her take notice of the rather large bulge that was making it's presence made. He gave a rather impish smile, one that may have been taken for an apology, but the glint in his eyes betrayed him for the mischievous thoughts running through his mind. As she continued speaking, the male couldn't help but let out a quiet laugh. "I believe I could escort you back without a problem. Unless you're talking some other strong man in the building." he said with a wink, his face flushed with heat once more as he felt her leg brush against his.
As she finally stepped down from her stool and started making her way to the bar doors, he didn't hesitate for a moment before he followed like a puppy on a leash- the look she cast at him only confirming the invitation. He was soon at her side, though he could hardly even feel himself walking. The liquor was selectively numbing his senses to certain things, and with each time his feet planted themselves on the concrete of the sidewalk- all the male would feel was slight pressure from the impact, atleast letting him know his feet were hitting something and he wasn't just imagining this. The male was sure to walk close- the air outside cooler than he had remembered it to be. Whether it was from the liquor or being inside for all of that time, he wasn't sure. One thing he was sure of was that every time his arm would happen to brush against hers, he could feel the shock it sent down his spine.
He eyed her a bit, looking deep in thought. "You're not cold, are you?" he asked, taking notice of her bare arms and half-exposed chest that came as result from the revealing shirt. Without really thinking, he immediately started to remove his long-sleeved shirt, revealing the lighter gray under shirt he had been sporting- the fabric clinging to each other for a few moments and therefore revealing his toned stomach before he pushed the lighter undershirt back down to protect his own skin from the biting chill as well. He slowed a bit, stepping back into pace behind brooks and placing the shirt so that the sleeves were stretched out down the length of her arms, and them some due to their size difference. He came into step beside her again, walking with her the last remaining moments before they came to her door.
He stepped behind her again, his arms wrapping gently around her own stomach as he let his head rest on her shoulder, smiling a bit. "I think it's about time to get you warmed up, eh?" he spoke, waiting for her to unlock the door that would ultimately get their night started.

Even though the agent could tell that there was movement behind her, she heard them bustling away, ignoring the alternating whistles and calls for the pair to get a room while the two of them continued kissing, Brooks' skin lighting on fire as the contact increased, slipping down onto her lower back and hovering tantalizingly above her hindquarters. Raising an eyebrow as her hand slipped the bill onto the counter, eyes still trained on the amber pools that justified his excitement, overjoyed at finally hearing the key response she'd been counting on - he would bring her home.
Enthused at being able to illicit such a reaction from the Lunar Beast even through a simple touch such as her ankle rubbing against his leg, the lady pulled herself away from Rei reluctantly, where she was convinced that she would be happy to spend the entire night if there wasn't the promise of other activities in the near future. "Do you happen to see any stronger men around? Because if so, I won't mind asking them..." She teased, her pale hand dancing up Rei's arm for a moment in a light, gentle touch that enticed him to follow her out the door - and she was excited when he leapt at the opportunity.
And this brings the readers to perhaps the most awkward point of the night. It was one thing to completely fling yourself onto the first guy that sat beside you in the bar; Another thing entirely for that guy to be the only one in the city who'd dared to try and kill her & her partner countless times already; And yet another completely different thing to now be walking along the streets she knew well, hidden from the people she knew due to the darkness that fell around them in an encompassing descent.
Due to having another hidden coat beneath whatever clothes she wore in her human form, the woman scarcely gave much thought to what she wore in terms of warmth or practicality. Admittedly, it had been hard for the border collie to get used to clothes in the first few years of wearing them in her human form, but it had worked out eventually. However, now she was regretting, but only slightly, not bringing anything to drape over her exposed arms. When her partner-in-crime voiced his question, she only shrugged, too proud to admit this fault when they were so close to her place anyways. His next motions attested to a gentleman-y nature locked deep within the beast, as the male lifted his clothing off of his body (not without a slight purr of appreciation from the woman at his bare skin) and placed it over her shoulders, causing a small, genuine, unaffected-by-liquor-and-bad-decisions smile. "... uh, thanks." she murmured, falling back into step before she turned off the road, tilting with her head to indicate which door was hers.
Rummaging in her pockets for the lightweight metal piece that would secure their actions for the night, Rei's arms found their way around her flat stomach before her own hands found the key, and she leaned back into his embrace, resting her head against his as it lay on her shoulder, humming slightly. "I should say so." The woman stated, before tilting her cranium back and delivering a small nibble to the remaining ear before her neck released it's tension, shielding her exposed throat in that moment, and turning the key in the lock to open the door.
Leading him into her cozy apartment, it was better-looking than her last one, but a bit smaller, to compensate for the prime location in the heart of the city. Locking the door behind them, she placed the key on the counter where her badge lay quietly, silent witnesses to the descent of Morgan Brooks. The guilty party walked into the small foyer, which lead into a kitchenette (that she hardly used due to arriving at her job by breakfast time) and then into what could be called a family room, complete with a couch, TV, and coffee table, miraculously not littered with mugs everywhere. Draping the charitable shirt over the couch as she led him through the rooms, Brooks made sure Rei was following her to the bedroom before turning her back on him, thanking whatever being gave her the sense to make her bed that morning.
Standing in front of her bed, waiting for the beast to quickly take in his surroundings, the woman waited until he was facing her again before moving towards him, tilting her head to look as if she was really perplexed. "Now... where were we? I can't be sure, can you remind me?" She purred, a mischievous smile spread across her face as she moved in, hands placed in the back pockets of her pants. She'd kicked off her shoes as Rei was appreciating the scenery, and so stood barefoot before the towering beast, without a hint of fear but more than enough adrenaline and anticipation to carry them both through the night.

The door opened and the male leaned a bit down into brooks a bit more- going to nip at her neck, but missing as he tilted his head up a bit to look into the darkness. Meanwhile, the woman bounded inside with him in tow, hands slipping from around her so she could go off to do her own thing for a moment while he was left to trail along while investigating the surroundings. It had the dull scent of Booth, and that made Rei grin. The male would certainly catch the lunar beasts scent when he next came over- and it would not just be all over the apartment. Rei's scent, after all, was not something that was easy to get rid of or cover up.
The place was nice, rather tidy, but the male realized he'd stopped moving and brought his attention back to the woman before him- the one who'd managed to enchant him. He'd subconsciously stopped as soon as she had- and he hadn't the sense to curse at himself for letting her get so much control over him so quickly; to the point of him willingly following her like her pet, and not making a move without her. Instead, he was captivated with the outline of her form- and the words she was speaking. She drew closer to him, coming closer into the soft glow that his hair, even in his human form, managed to put out- illuminating her features much like moonlight. Her words seemed to take an eternity to reach him, but they came so suddenly at the same time- and rei wasted no time. He gave a soft chuckle, drawing closer to her and wrapping his arms around her to pull her closer. "I think I know exactly where I left off~" He growled out seductively, letting his head dip down quite a ways to nip at the side of her neck gently, meanwhile backing her up towards the bed and lowering her down into it.
He kept at his gentle nips and occasional licks and sucks, letting one knee rest on the bed to her side while the other was still off of the bed and keeping him from putting his weight onto her. A hand was on her side while another was cupped around the back of her neck- the one on her side beginning to snake around her torso as he moved to let his lips come crashing down onto hers. At first, the kiss started out gentle, and he let that tongue of his give a cautious lick at her lips- requesting permission to deepen it. Meanwhile, he had by now fully ensnared her in his arms and was holding her firmly against his body, but at the same time, softly. He grunted a bit, a grin breaking through and onto his lips. He was already getting excited, and the tent that was forming in his pants was enough proof of that.

She had lost Rei for a moment there, as he remained behind her when her shoes left her feet and the small apartment welcomed him in. Silently moving about her home as gracefully and entrancingly as a gypsy, she wove through the rooms, finally coming to a stop where the true action would begin. There was no telling where Rei's mind was as he stared about her home, as his dark, amber orbs lingered behind them despite Brooks' movement, but it didn't take very long for the attention to return to her.
As she moved closer to Rei's form, she became aware of the soft light that emanated from his skin for the first time. Her feet took small, falsely tentative steps towards him, the master tease until the end. The magic didn't stop her from her actions - far from it. It only added to the forbidden nature of their night, which wasn't the only thing exciting the collie in that moment. His force was visibly under his slightly tight clothing, and Brooks knew that he was struggling to keep it in check as the muscles rippled (and a certain one bulged) beneath his clothing. But as he was getting further entranced with her, Brooks was falling under a spell for him, a spell that transported reason to another day and let pure instinct and pleasure follow for the night. In this mindset yes, she could break away from him; Conceivably could shut the door and force him out, but there wasn't a trace of will in her body. Everything that could have spoken to that was either drunk or numb at this point.
Drunken numbness had slipped away, finally, allowing for heightened sensitivity like electrical sockets pinpricked across her skin. As his powerful, firm hands wrapped around her like a vice, a small shiver cascaded down her spine, whether it was an effect of the words or the contact unclear. But it was a pleasant shiver nonetheless, and she unknowingly pressed herself against the much bigger male, rolling her head to the opposite side when he bit her neck, closing her eyes with a faint grin of pleasure painting her expression as the contacts continued.
Gravity rolled in on itself as the female found herself against the bed, her back hitting the mattress with a soft 'poing', the springs groaning under Rei's and her mutual weight. Their kiss began, but it held less of the surprise that they had shared in the bar, where some sober part of their subconscious was reeling at their contact. Now there was none of that reaching Brooks, and as the contact reached her lips she lengthened her spine, reaching for the source of the kiss and fighting back with her own, lips moving as his did.
Her caramel hair had spread around her cranium as her body lay against the bed, her arms against the mattress as she repositioned herself subtly on the bed, replacing her body so she was fully on the bed, and he could follow. Once fully arranged, her arms snuck around to his broad shoulders, the skinny limbs of the fae looking like twigs compared to his, but she persisted all the same. Running her fingers to cling to his back, she pulled him closer to her, blue eyes shielded from their deed with eyelids closed in pleasure.
Their bodies were pressed together, the much smaller woman able to feel nearly every ripple of his muscles as the contact intensified. Drawn away from his body as the lick lit tiny fires on her lips, she let her lips part, drawing him in further and even inviting the contact with pinpricks of touch on her part. Her hands moved up from their place on his shoulders now, pulling not-so-gently at his shirt's neckline, not in a matter that could be interpreted as choking, but her intent to remove the garment clear.
(And this is where the imagination stops... for now...)

Inviting his tongue to explore her own mouth aroused the male more, his arms moving to completely envelop the fae and pull her up more onto the bed as she moved with him, her hands clasping on the collar of his shirt, pulling and tugging. The smirk on his lips grew larger, like the pressure in his pants, and he arched his back a bit, the force of her pulling easily taking the shirt right off of his back. Rei pulled back only for a split second, helping remove the shirt completely before tossing it aside and resting on his knees above the fae, observing her as a hand strayed to the bottom of her own shirt, giving the hemline a quick tug as he lowered himself back down onto her, not lifting the shirt off of her- but giving her a good hint of what he wanted.
Amber eyes seemed to almost glow with anticipation- the color beating that of the whiskey he had downed too much of not too long ago. The thought of the collies partner wasn't crossing his drunken mind, but the thought was lurking in the back of his eventually-to-be-sober mind none the less. Surely when he had a clearer mind, he'd realize just how much damage he'd done to the mutt- sleeping with his partner and the woman he loved, leaving his scent all over her and her apartment for when he came to visit next. That sweet floral scent with the hint of feral nature. Yes, surely, that wold bring great pleasure to rei- but not nearly as great as getting what he desired, right there under him.
He'd been thinking- no, fantasizing about this very moment for countless months. Now it was happening- her skin warm under his hand as he tilted her chin up slightly, his lips just barely brushing hers as he grinned to himself, letting out a small laugh. "You warm yet...? he whispered, his eyes lighting up even more.
